One of the main roles of the IRH is to promote and further the cause of Herbal Medicine in Ireland.  Through this website we feel we’ll be able to go very far in fulfilling this role.  Our Herbal Medicine Association provides not only a public face, offering useful information such as media articles, herbal research, finding register herbalists, etc but it is also an interactive forum where visitors can ask a question, query something they read recently, or even offer some wonderful story where Herbal Medicine has really changed their life.

We feel Herbal Associations and the Herbalists that they represent have a moral duty to actively provide education and support to the general public.  So through this website you will find information about the safety, efficacy and benefits of Herbal Medicine.  To be informed is to be empowered.  The trinity of Herbal Association, Herbalist and Client is vital to sustain a safe, professional and healing environment.
